I FINALLY got our new spa’s PH and ALK within the normal range and then I added the sani spa and it seemed to mess it all up again! Is this just because of the sani spa chemicals? Thanks in advance!

What Would Make His Skin Turn Blue In The Spa?
Tuesday, July 14th, 2009Other night after spending time in an backyard spa,a gf of mine was quite alarmed to notice that the skin of her man friend’s crotch area had turned a bright, darkish blue colour.
She asked me to have a quick peek at it and it was very noticable. Let me point out that the man was not wearing a bathing suit or underpants while sitting in the spa (ew it’s quite a revolting picture lol) and also, that the discolouration occurred only on the man’s crotch region, beneath the area where his pubic hair grows (yak…another revolting mental picture). Nowhere else. And he is not a blonde, his hair colour is dark brown.
My suspicion is that the man must’ve previously applied some sort of cream or treatment to the skin of his crotch which has reacted to the spa chemicals causing the treated area to discolour. But, my question is, WHAT TYPE of lotion or cream or treatment would react with spa chemicals (not sure if it was salt or chlorine) to turn one’s skin blue?
